IT BTS Sales & Procurement Process Analyst Manager (Temporary)

The temporary position is to provide expertise in their application/process specialization to support the daily operations and effective performance of the business solution (application/support maintenance). The incumbent is responsible for resolution of minor and complex incidents & change/service request and deliver timely and quality solutions to the users while at the same time ensuring that they utilize the full application potential.

As the IT BTS Sales & Procurement Process Analyst Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • People Management/Operations: Leads the end-to-end delivery of major functional initiatives by managing system design, configuration, testing, data migration, and overall project execution with internal and external teams. Ensures system integrity, challenges processes for improvement, manages interfaces between applications, assesses legacy impacts, and maintains compliance with JTI and J‑SOX requirements.
  • Business Partnership: Acts as a strategic business partner by providing process and system expertise to optimize practices, introduce market best practices, and identify new functionalities that add business value. Builds strong relationships with users to understand needs and deliver timely, high-quality solutions that maximize application use.
  • Knowledge Management: Provides training, best practices, and knowledge transfer to power users and analysts while coaching teams on system implementation. Ensures comprehensive business and technical process documentation and manages knowledge transfer from project teams and external consultants to BTS.
  • Communication & Alignment: Collaborates with the BTS Lead and Global Business Owners to align on current initiatives and plan future ones, ensuring the roadmap is clearly supported and executed.
  • Documentation & Stewardship: Maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation—including BPMLs, process flows, enterprise structures, and operational procedures—while coordinating with users and project teams and ensuring quality standards are met across all documentation.
  • Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Protection – for the Employee: Understands and applies all health, safety, and environmental requirements by following procedures, using equipment properly, attending required trainings and medical check-ups, and reporting hazards or incidents. Ensures personal and contractor compliance with safety rules and proper use of protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For

You ideally have:

  • University degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant experience; strong background in designing and implementing major IT business applications in a global, multicultural, and manufacturing-focused environment.
  • Proven experience leading integration projects involving multiple systems and machines, demonstrating strong technical ownership and leadership aligned with business needs.
  • Experience with SAP and solid understanding of manufacturing business processes, related application functionality, and key support/development processes; Experience in automation tools and AI/ML is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and customer service skills with the ability to translate business needs into solutions and collaborate effectively under pressure in diverse teams.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS legislation (occupational health & safety and environmental protection) as well as Agile methodologies, JTI GRM/OCM frameworks, and detailed application testing procedures.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Amenable to do short international travel at least once or twice during the assignment.
