Job Description

The primary role is to independently execute IT audit engagements across various technology domains, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and application controls.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct risk-based audits of IT systems, infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity controls
  • Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and system configurations.
  • Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation in accordance with internal audit standards.
  • Assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and incident response processes.
  • Review vulnerability management, access controls, and data protection mechanisms.
  • Identify and report on technology-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure audit activities comply with SEC and BSP regulations, as well as internal IT governance policies.
  • Support regulatory audits and provide documentation and responses as needed.
  • Prepare audit reports with clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings to IT and business stakeholders and support issue resolution tracking.
  • Contribute to periodic management reporting and audit committee updates.

What You Need To Have

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk management, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001), cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.

What Can Set You Apart

  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CEH are a plus.
  • Knowledge and exposure to Philippines laws and regulations i.e., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) policies, other relevant local law in regard to e-money services and digital lending is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Risk Management and Compliance is also an added advantage
