Intersystems Developer Specialist

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Must have skills / Primary skills 1. 3+ years of hands-on development experience with InterSystems HealthShare and its components (e.g., Unified Care Record, Health Connect/Ensemble). 2. Strong proficiency in Caché ObjectScript (COS) and/or IRIS ObjectScript. 3. In-depth knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 V2, HL7 FHIR, CDA/CCDA, and other messaging formats (XML, JSON). 4. Experience with DTL, XSLT, and Business Process Language (BPL) development. 5. Solid understanding of integration protocols like MLLP, SFTP, REST, and SOAP. 6. Experience with SQL and relational databases. 7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Good to have skills (Optional) 1. InterSystems certifications (e.g., HealthShare or IRIS for Health). 2. Experience with other integration engines (e.g., Rhapsody, Cloverleaf). 3. Familiarity with patient matching algorithms and Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) functionality. 4. Experience in a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment.
