The Intermediate Collections Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned accounts and for daily collections activities. This includes working with internal and external customers to proactively identify and resolve problems that might delay payment of accounts to expedite cash collections.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned receivables accounts.
  • Tasked with identifying and resolving problems that might delay payment of accounts receivable cash collection and/or affect customer satisfaction.
  • Tasked with meeting and/or exceeding assigned collection targets.
  • Research, identify and resolve unapplied payments.
  • Review contracts, orders, and invoices to reconcile and resolve customer disputes.
  • Responsible for timely follow-up and regular updates to accounts receivable collection notes.


What Youll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, credit control, or a related field such as accounts receivable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Being Assertive when required to ensure we are meeting our business objectives.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and diplomatically with customers to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Reconciliation Skills: Demonstrated experience in reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle challenging and sensitive situations with resilience and professionalism.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
