Infor M3 Finance Consultant

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced Infor M3 Finance Consultant (Support) to join our ERP Managed Services team. The consultant will provide functional and application support for Infor M3 Finance modules, ensuring smooth business operations, timely resolution of user issues, and continuous system improvements. This role is ideal for professionals with strong finance domain knowledge and hands-on Infor M3 experience, who thrive in client-facing environments focused on service quality and stability.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Deliver functional support for Infor M3 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Costing, Consolidation).
• Analyze and resolve user issues, incidents, and service requests in alignment with SLA targets.
• Work closely with technical (L3) teams for defect analysis, data correction, and system enhancements.
• Support finance operations such as month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and configuration documentation.
• Support configuration adjustments, data fixes, and regression testing when required.
• Coordinate with other functional teams (Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) for cross-module issue resolution.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

4+ years of hands-on experience in Infor M3 Finance functional support.

Deep understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, costing, inter-company).

Experience working with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and implement configuration changes.

Familiarity with M3 data structures, workflows, and finance tables.

Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement skills.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to various Infor M3 versions.

Basic SQL skills for data validation or analysis.

Preferably with ITIL Foundation certification or experience in ITIL-based support models.

Experience in a global support environment.
