Implementation Manager - Airport Solutions
About The Role
As an Implementation Manager you will manage complex airport/airline solution implementations end‑to‑end—owning planning, technical delivery, stakeholder alignment, and a smooth transition into operations—while guiding teams and customers through upgrades, testing, and go‑lives across AMS/PPS products.
Main Roles And Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead or team manager for major implementation projects.
- Develop and execute detailed implementation and cutover plans, managing risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and clear communication.
- Provide guidance on upgrades, installations, environment readiness and system architecture.
- Facilitate customer testing phases (SIT/UAT), drive defect resolution and document/validate requirements.
- Conduct analysis and joint product design sessions to align scope and solution choices.
- Lead implementation, rollout, and hypercare of AMS or PPS products, ensuring controlled, low‑risk go‑lives.
- Support operations and customer service teams post‑implementation with knowledge transfer, SLAs, and runbooks.
- Allocate tasks, track progress and quality, performance management and coach for team development.
About The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in delivering airport/airline implementations;
- Proven experience leading teams or mentoring others is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, version control, client/server architectures, hardware components, networking, and cloud computing.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and empower cross‑functional teams and customer stakeholders.
- Background in software development and/or system integration with solid understanding of SDLC and delivery practices is preferable but not mandatory
- Clear, confident communication skills—able to tailor messages to both technical and business audiences.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable with diverse work styles and team dynamics.
- Willingness to travel frequently to both international and domestic locations
- Relevant degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Mechatronics or a related stream (or equivalent practical experience)
