Position Title: HR Systems Advisor


Job Summary:


  • Acts as first level support for HR systems and overall Point-of-Contact (POC) for all system-related initiatives, projects, administration and governance
  • Coordinates with HR units, ITG and system vendors for maintenance checks, repairs, configuration, resolution of issues and fixes that the HR systems may require
  • Provides first-level direct support to users whose problems or issues are reported to and subsequently managed or coordinated with the various personnel of the Bank
  • Maximizes the utilization of systems and initiates review of current practices for system enhancement to streamline HR processes
  • Manages automation projects from documentation to execution and post-implementation
  • Leads the delivery of new systems that are suitable to user and business requirements
  • Creates procedures and user manuals for the operations and maintenance of HR systems and conducts training as needed

Role Exposure:

System Management, Administration and Support

  • Acts as the overall System Administrator for all HR systems and other programs
  • Performs system maintenance and regular performance testing while ensuring integrity and accuracy of all data stored in the systems
  • Maintains security in systems through proper user access and control management to ensure that access to data is restricted to authorized users
  • Manages Help Desk system by:
  • Providing assistance to users in understanding, navigating and utilizing applications as well as in fixing technical glitches
  • Implementing process improvements based on analysis of system user requirements, procedures and issues
  • Generating system reports and other support requests and provide feedback and analysis on problems encountered to initiate next steps
  • Conducting user training as necessary
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all communication cascades related to HR systems and other system-related initiatives

System Development and Project Management

  • Leads the delivery of new HR systems, enhancements, and other automation projects from design to execution and post-implementation, including but not limited to data gathering and analysis, process mapping, system build, data maintenance and quality management
  • Facilitates the acquisition of user data requirements and prepares change requests for system enhancements
  • Translates business requirements into functional specifications containing the level of detail, appropriate visuals, publication tools, style, tone and media that end-users require
  • Develops the project plan and submits end-user requirements from trends, issues, and analyses of data requirements
  • Facilitates preparation of documents relevant to the conduct of the UAT (e.g. issues log, test plan and scripts, test results, and user sign off)
  • Participates in the testing of application software for regulatory and other management reports during the development and UAT stage
  • Monitors the UAT and its timely completion
  • Oversees the project implementation (e.g. project timeline, issue log and resolutions) and ensures timely movement and progress of all project deliverables
  • Completes necessary documentation of post go-live implementation including communication materials, user guides and cascades
  • Conducts system walkthrough and training as needed

  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time


Qualifications:

  • Must have 2-3 years related experience in handling HR systems but not required
  • Working experience within banking industry is required – any HR function as long interested and committed to acquire new technical skills
  • Project management background is an advantage
