Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support the daily operations of our Human Resources department. This role will cover a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, training coordination, compliance, and record management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, discreet, and an effective communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment activities such as posting job ads, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing contracts, orientation schedules, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records in HR systems and files.
  • Provide support for payroll preparation by validating attendance and timesheet data.
  • Assist in rolling out HR policies, ensuring alignment with company standards and employment regulations.
  • Coordinate employee training, workshops, and development programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
  • Track attendance, leave requests, and absences to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Support employee relations, including grievance handling and disciplinary actions, with strict confidentiality.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and HR industry trends to support compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in an HR support or generalist capacity.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR processes.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
