We are hiring an HR Generalist based in Manila to support Singapore HR operations within a Shared Services model. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR operations experience, including a minimum of 3 years hands-on, Singapore-specific HR practice. You will be the subject-matter expert (remotely) for Singapore employee HR queries, ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws, and partner with regional stakeholders to deliver efficient, employee-centric HR services. Experience with ServiceNow (ticketing) and SAP SuccessFactors (HRIS) is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR SME (remote) for Singapore employee queries and HR-related concerns
Advise and support employees and managers on HR processes aligned to Singapore legislation and company policies
Localize regional/global processes to Singapore requirements; maintain clear, employee-friendly workflows and documentation
Facilitate the grievance process and manage less complex employee relations cases for Singapore; escalate as needed
Lead or contribute to HR projects (process improvements, policy updates, system enhancements); plan and execute smooth rollouts
Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, templates, and knowledge articles; drive continuous process optimization
Deliver onboarding and ongoing training within HR operations; support knowledge transfer across the team
Train Tier 1 HR support to handle requirements specific to Singapore and other APAC countries
Monitor compliance risks; stay current with Singapore legislation and proactively recommend mitigation actions
Coordinate with Singapore-based vendors and government entities and manage related operational budgets
Maintain HR metrics and prepare internal/external reports for the Singapore scope
Process and audit employee data/transactions in SAP SuccessFactors; manage and resolve ServiceNow tickets within SLAs
What We Expect
Required qualifications and experience:
5+ years in HR operations or generalist HR, with at least 3 years Singapore-specific HR experience
Experience in HR Shared Services or similar service delivery model strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements
Hands-on experience with HRIS and ticketing tools; SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Highly organized, structured work style with strong attention to detail and service orientation
Proven ability to balance Singapore compliance with regional/global standards
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and remote stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet SLAs, and deliver high-quality service across time zones
Preferred Skills
Experience creating SOPs, process maps, and knowledge articles
Exposure to Singapore payroll coordination and vendor management
Data-driven approach to analyzing HR metrics and identifying improvements
