The Opportunity at a Glance

A specialist planning and spatial consultancy is seeking a GIS Analyst / Urban Planner - QGIS Expert to support a growing pipeline of strategic planning and advisory projects. The firm delivers detailed written reports supported by high-quality spatial analysis and mapping.

This role is fully internal and production-focused. You will be responsible for creating the GIS maps and figures that feed directly into formal reports, helping remove map production workload from senior consultants and analysts. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

Your primary responsibility is producing accurate, well-styled GIS outputs that are ready for inclusion in professional reports.

You will:

• Create clean, presentation-ready maps using QGIS


• Work with aerial imagery and spatial datasets


• Highlight, outline, and compare multiple properties


• Plot key locations such as retail centres, supermarkets, and other points of interest


• Produce approximately three detailed maps or figures per project


• Support reports that typically run 30-50 pages


• Ensure consistency, clarity, and professional cartographic styling across all outputs


• Work independently once tasks are assigned, with minimal supervision

What We’re Looking For - You’re the Perfect Fit if You:

• Are based in the Philippines and seeking a full-time remote role


• Have strong, hands-on experience using QGIS (non-negotiable)


• Advance Excel skills required


• Can independently produce clean, styled GIS maps suitable for formal written reports


• Have experience working with aerial imagery and spatial datasets


• Are confident outlining properties, plotting locations, and layering spatial data


• Are a self-starter who can execute tasks with minimal supervision after onboarding


• Are comfortable in a fully internal, production-focused role 

What Sets You Apart - You’ll Shine Even Brighter With:

• Experience supporting planning, urban development, property, or advisory projects


• GIS experience from overseas markets (AU, UK, US, or similar)


• Strong cartographic and visual presentation skills


• Confidence working in small consultancy environments


• Interest in expanding into light data analysis or planning interpretation over time

Work Schedule & Employment Terms

Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Remote role for Philippine-based candidates only
