General Ledger Associate

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Handles a Master Data Coordinator Role, as assigned
• Company Responsible under General Ledger for small and medium size entities (depending on Team Structure)
• General Ledger: WPA Non-Complex Entries (GFO and Business Initiated), Account monitoring & clearing (All GFO GL assigned), BayJED Check, Master Data Extension and changes of settings
• Closing: Perform WPA entry to resolve issues related to closing as coordinated by other GFO teams (e.g. Reporting or VFL, PAIV & Closing)
• Updates and creates documentation, whenever required
• Ensures timely and accurate performance of ICS controls
• Check pending WPA Approval
• Identify/clarify all pending requests for the current closing period
• Contributes to LEAN and Innovation activities in collaboration with RFH and GFO teams, such as Reporting or VFL, PAIV & Closing
• Performs other tasks as required by the role
  
  

Who You Are

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
• General Understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of the relevant IT systems (e.g. SAP)
• Knowledgeable in Excel, Power Point and SharePoint. Experience in Excel macros or VBA would be a plus
• Fluent in English, any other spoken language is a plus, and with strong communication/presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate and work under pressure with high flexibility in changing and complex environments
• Ownership mindset, addressing challenges proactively and with end-to-end focus, and ensuring close connection to relevant stakeholders
