Your Role

• Handle and perform both General Ledger (GL) and Management Accounting (MA) operations tasks daily, including month-end close (MEC) activities.
• Manage GL processes and tasks to provide internal customers with financial data and reports.
• Manage accounting processes, post to the general ledger, and handle payroll and benefits as applicable.
• Maintain master data and reconcile/maintain accounts.
• Prepare reports as required by local finance and Group Accounting.
• Perform financial analysis and (pre-)audit tasks.
• Handle escalations and perform advanced processing for complex or sensitive GL activities.
• Provide support on user testing related to ERP/GL tasks.
• Support MA activities, including cost accounting and profitability analysis for assigned entities.
• Assist local finance and controlling units in managing maintenance and posting processes in cost accounting.
• Provide an accurate and timely overview of overhead costs for controlling analysis and business decisions.
• Maintain cost accounting master data in line with global guidelines and integrity constraints.
• Manage master data-related requests via mailbox and MDG-F tool, including system transfer price updates and troubleshooting.
• Support period-end closing procedures (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and reports in accordance with international standards and guidelines.
• Leverage expertise to seek better process performance and contribute to process excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with local entity finance to resolve process-related issues.
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting Operations.
• Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred.
• Profound accounting knowledge (IFRS, GAAP, Tax) required.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems required.
• Well-versed in accounting/finance with direct experience in full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Experience with Cost Accounting and Profitability Accounting.
• Familiarity with SAP CO-OM and SAP CO-PA.
• Fluent in English language skills required.
• Willing to be based in Manila, Philippines (Local Hire).
• Shift schedule: Non-MEC (1 PM - 10 PM) and MEC (9 PM - 6 AM).
