Position Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Processing Administrator to join our Back Office Operations team. Working with CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) as a client, the Administrator will support CI GAMs high-net-worth product lines and will be responsible for reviewing and processing mutual fund transactions.

This role requires a high degree of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a structured environment while contributing to process improvements.

Education & Certifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
• Completion of IFIC or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) (preferred, considered an asset)
  
  

Experience & Knowledge

• At least 2 years of experience in financial services, back-office operations, or fund administration
• Knowledge of mutual fund operations, investment products, and financial industry processes (e.g., plan types, tax rules, trade types) (asset)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process mutual fund transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of transactions and reconciliations
• Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies, escalations, or operational issues
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
• Collaborate with team members to provide backup support as needed
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding transaction status and operational updates
