Job Description
- Lead external reporting, governance, and statutory compliance activities across multiple countries.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee accounting balances, reconciliations, and statutory audit activities.
- Act as the primary liaison for auditors and key external stakeholders.
- Drive governance, risk management, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on compliance implications.
- Support system integrations, process migrations, and finance transformation projects.
- Manage escalations and ensure effective stakeholder communication and issue resolution.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 50 to 60 professionals.
- Drive automation, efficiency, and service excellence initiatives across the function.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- 12 to 15 years of experience in statutory compliance, controllership, or a related finance leadership role within a multinational shared service, global business service, or center of excellence.
- Experience in a Big 4 firm is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
- Proven experience managing and developing large teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
- Leadership opportunity managing a team of approximately 50 to 60 staff.
