Summary

Provision of customer service through Installation, movement, troubleshooting, field actions and maintenance (both Curative and Preventative) of bioMérieux instruments, equipment and spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-installation checks and site survey. Installation and Movement of Equipment.
• Performs Technical Support for equipment (Via Phone, Remote and Customer site Visits) and regular preventive maintenance activities
• Prepares and updates Field Service Documentation
• Answers Resolves and Escalates issues (to Global Customer Service) to provide exceptional Customer Service Support.
• Maintains Service Records for all Instruments, equipment and spare parts through Salesforce
• Management of Field Actions (including MAR, FCA and FSCA actions)
• Ensures ViLink Connectivity and installations
• Provides initial informatics system troubleshooting and configurations (network, LIS, etc)
  
  

• Diploma and/or Bachelors Degree (Preferred) in Engineering – Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical etc
• Experience in field service engineering from relevant industry preferrred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to travel regularly. Possess drivers license and able to drive to meet business needs
• Able to communicate in both English and local language.
• Problem-solving oriented, with good communication/presentation skills
• Knowledge in microbiology, immunology systems is a plus
