Expert Workday HR Analyst

As an Expert Workday HR Analyst with a mastery of Workday, you will execute the strategic management of HR systems and complex HR processes across global functions. Beyond maintaining data integrity and operational excellence, you will drive transformative projects, lead root cause analyses, and implement innovative automation and process simplifications. You will oversee governance and audit compliance, mentor junior analysts, and ensure robust knowledge management across the team. Partnering closely with senior HR leadership and cross-functional teams, you will provide support and guidance on core HR, compensation, talent, and performance management topics, ensuring best practices and business continuity. This role requires one to exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability for actions and results, possess an end-to-end process expertise and leverage an entrepreneurial and strategic approach to develop solutions that drive business value for the organization

Your Roles And Responsibilities

Service Delivery

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Core HCM functionality and processes, ensuring data accuracy and structural integrity at all times
  • Execute, validate and serve as a second level escalation for end-to-end employee life cycle transactions e.g., hire, movement, termination, etc.) ensuring alignment with policy and deliver an excellent user experience
  • Support Compensation and Talent Management processes and provide guidance to employees, managers and HR partners on system use and best practices
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports using Workday dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Stay current on Workday functionality releases and support the organization by evaluating, testing, and implementing relevant updates.
  • Promote and train users on self-service reporting tools and resolve access-related concerns.
  • Meet individual KPI targets and drive sub-teams KPI targets

Governance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with internal control standards (ICS) and prepare for audits.
  • Lead business continuity planning for the function.
  • Monitor process risks and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.

Issue Management & Stakeholder Support

  • Assess and resolve complex data issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR, technical and business teams to troubleshoot and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and apply insights to execute corrective and preventive measure.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Lead process reviews to optimize workflows and improve data accuracy and service quality.
  • Identify automation opportunities and drive simplification of HR reporting and data handling.

Knowledge Management & Capability Building

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Facilitate knowledge-sharing and conduct training sessions for continuous team capability enhancement

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course.
  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in HR analytics, Workday operational support.
  • Working expertise with Workday Core HCM, Talent/Performance, Recruiting , Workday Learning
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and drive results in a collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a high degree of ownership and accountability for actions and results, an end-to-end process expertise and is able to leverage an entrepreneurial and strategic approach to develop solutions that drive business value for the organization
