Enterprise Data Architect

We are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team and help shape the future of Data & Analytics across JTI’s global Digital & IT landscape. In this role, you will define architecture for global, regional, and local Digital & IT initiatives, bringing specialized Data & Analytics expertise while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic direction.

You will play a key role in promoting JTI’s Data & Analytics strategy, enriching reference architecture models, evaluating new technologies, and supporting solution and enterprise architects with domain-specific expertise. You will also collaborate with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, influence technology direction, and support the evolution of JTI’s enterprise architecture.

As an Enterprise Data Architect, in the area of Digital & IT / Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for

• Define and maintain JTI's Data & Analytics architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Provide architecture guidance for global Digital & IT initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards.
• Design and govern architecture standards covering data platforms, integration, analytics, security, and information management.
• Support solution and enterprise architects on Data & Analytics requirements and technology decisions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept activities to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic vendors to influence technology direction and maximize business value.
• Promote and socialize JTI's Data & Analytics strategy, tools, and architectural patterns.
• Support Enterprise Architecture governance, planning, impact assessments, and strategic initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of overall IT experience in a multinational environment, with exposure to business applications, development, administration, or systems engineering.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas project management and IT/business process management, enterprise-level Data & Analytics development, or cloud and digital technologies, particularly Azure and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and solution architecture concepts, methods, and standards, with ArchiMate knowledge considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of digital ecosystems and technology trends such as cloud, BI, mobility, integration, big data, and security.
• Ability to work at enterprise level, analyze from conceptual and logical perspectives, and understand global end-to-end architecture views.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across IT management, GTC, GDC, BTS, business users, consultants, and vendors.
• Strong analytical skills, thought leadership, structured ways of working, and a results-driven mindset.
