Job Description Summary

Seeking a skilled developer to design, build, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions and Power BI reporting solutions, bridging functional requirements with technical implementation for financial, operational, and supply chain insights.

Key Responsibilities

Business Central Development:

Develop custom extensions, pages, codeunits, and APIs using AL development language.

Customize BC functionality, ensuring upgrade-safe, best-practice coding.

Integrate BC with other systems (CRM, external sources) using APIs and connectors.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize BC performance.

Power BI Development

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.

Perform data modeling, analysis, and ETL processes (Power Query, DAX).

Embed Power BI visuals within Business Central.

Business Analysis & Collaboration

Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders (Finance, Ops, Supply Chain).

Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.

Collaborate with functional consultants, users, and project teams.

Support & Maintenance

Provide post-go-live support and system enhancements.

Manage upgrades and version control for BC solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a BC Developer or similar role.

Strong command of AL, C#, .NET (for older integrations), Power BI (DAX, Power Query).

Understanding of BC functional areas (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain).

Experience with data warehousing, modeling, and ETL.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate) a plus.
