Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesDevSecOps & Security Integration
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines following shift‑left practices, including static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), software composition analysis (SCA), and secrets scanning.
- Implement automated security gates across development workflows to ensure regulatory and security compliance for a universal bank.
- Establish policies, standards, and best practices for secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and secure infrastructure operations.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Ansible.
- Enforce secure configurations and automated compliance checks within IaC repositories.
- Lead efforts to standardize reusable, secure IaC modules across development teams.
- Architect, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes to reduce manual effort and increase delivery reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around pipeline efficiency, automated testing coverage, and deployment quality.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD workflows, including unit, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Champion test automation strategies that improve software resiliency and reduce release cycle time.
- Ensure proper tool selection, configuration, and adoption across engineering teams.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement planning for platform stability and security.
- Monitor infrastructure, pipelines, and applications for performance, security, and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, development, and risk teams to maintain alignment with regulatory expectations for financial institutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
- Lead small teams or project groups when needed; experience in people leadership is an advantage.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure engineering solutions.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant DevSecOps, DevOps, or security engineering experience.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., banking, fintech, telco) is an advantage.
- Prior team leadership or mentorship experience is preferred but not required.

- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- DevSecOps Foundation (DSOF)
- GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
- Cloud & Infrastructure Certifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Security Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+
- GIAC-related certifications (GCIH, GCLD, GWEB)
