Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with developing, maintaining and improving a rolling 18-month operational forecast for all products by incorporating sales trend, promotional plans, new product launches and business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, and other sources. This position will work closely with sales, marketing and distributor/top customer partners to develop a more robust plan to improve forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, reduce excess and obsolete inventory and support current and future supply chain initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring consistently high service to our customers by proactively identifying and solving short-term supply/demand mismatches. This role works cross-functionally and is the key local contact for all supply side questions which happen within the very short-term horizon and require an agile response & resolution
Roles & Responsibilities
Forecast Management Lead
Lead monthly forecast process (IMS/NGS) with Marketing, Sales and Finance
Ensure Baseline, L/RL & Promotion Forecasts are in line with overall business plan / company direction
Incorporate risks and opportunities in the S&OP FC numbers for decisions and mitigated actions
Facilitates Master data management, L/RL & Promotion Forecasting
Facilitates Assortment Planning
Supports ABP, Reforecasts & MSO Planning
Inventory Lead
Lead Stock Health management at BDF warehouses via proactive discussion and collaboration with key stakeholders (Sales, S&CM, MKT, Finance, DT, etc) in order to minimize excess stocks and waste.
Manage and control overall DIH as well as right stock mix in order to optimize WOC and %CSL.
Coordinate FG Supply Forecast between COE to deliver both service and inventory and ensure products supply reliability to support business growth
Accountable for very short-term service by proactively monitoring and mitigating risks, and resolving supply/demand gaps.
Find products to compensate the missing sales or understand whether we can wait for the next shipment (provide the timing of the arrival); in some markets especially valid for “end-of-month” NS achievement.
Follow up availability for products in OOS improving the availability date to reduce Fill Rate impact, not only Service Level
Input Service Level comment to customer service on the cut related to supply.
Supports local allocation/reservation, as well as VAS Planning and Execution process, by providing information about product availability (volume & time)
Local prioritization/allocation schemes
Critical stock management -> root causing, steering, follow-up, execution (prepare for scrapping, scrapping or release to unrestricted/sales)
To propose AF request for approval to mitigate risk on supply and tracking AF spending.
To provide input to waste comment
Bottleneck management: support communication to business and an operation allocation management
Coordinate with COE, Demand Planning, Customer service, and VAS required actions when long OOS (BN Constraint)
Your Profile
Skills
Education, Skills & Knowledge
The Candidate will have planning experience (>3-5 years)
The Candidate will have excellent operational knowledge of planning process and tools, like S&OP, SAP, etc.
The Candidate will have excellent Data analytical/conceptual skill and a track record of operational excellence and continuous improvement in end to end supply chain;
The Candidate should possess influencing skills, strong communication skills, executive presence and a hands on improvement style to succeed in this role;
The Candidate brings a high learning agility and passion to continuously re-invent and improve
Knowledge of SAP APO and/or R3
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (VBA and Query is preferrable)
Possess analytical & problem-solving skills with commercial thinking.
