Demand Planner

ACMobility is looking for a Demand Planner to develop accurate demand forecasts for new vehicles and parts across the Kia dealer network. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, supports sales growth, and aligns supply with market needs through strong collaboration with OEM partners and internal stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Analysis

• Develop data‑driven forecasts using historical trends, market insights, and dealer performance.
• Monitor macroeconomic factors and competitor activities to adjust demand requirements.
• Evaluate dealer capacity and financial considerations to ensure realistic forecasting.

Inventory Health & Optimization

• Maintain the balance between stock availability and working capital.
• Identify slow-moving models and recommend actions to improve inventory turnover.

OEM Coordination

• Work with KC PIC on production planning, ordering, and shipment schedules.
• Prepare and submit order proposals through the KDCS OEM portal.

Dealer Network Allocation

• Allocate units and ensure dealers receive the appropriate product mix based on territory demand and sales potential.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields.

Experience

• At least 5 years in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain.
• Experience presenting to and influencing C‑suite executives.

Business & Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of P&L impact of inventory decisions.
• Knowledge of automotive product lifecycle and dealer operations.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, forecasting tools, and market analysis.

Behavioral Skills

• Clear and persuasive communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to align cross-functional teams around data‑driven decisions.
