Database Administrator

Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that database solutions meet organizational needs and contribute to the overall success of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement optimizations as necessary. - Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates. - Document database configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Cloud Applications Technical. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Tools, Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with database backup and recovery strategies. - Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for database management and reporting. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Applications Technical. - This position is based at our Manila office.
