Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Data Architecture and Design Head.

In this role you will establish and govern the Banks enterprise data architecture, modeling standards, and curated data product design to ensure a scalable, interoperable, and regulatory-compliant ecosystem. You will provide strategic leadership by overseeing enterprise-wide data models, supervising architects and engineers, and driving technology innovation to deliver business value through architectural excellence.

What The Role Will Entail

• Provide strategic leadership by defining, institutionalizing, and governing enterprise data architecture standards in partnership with IT and Enterprise Architecture.
• Align technology strategy by influencing platform decisions across data lakes, warehouses, streaming, and AI systems to meet business and regulatory needs.
• Oversee enterprise data modeling through the design and quality assurance of conceptual, logical, and physical models, ensuring reusability, traceability, and governance.
• Lead data product design and reuse by establishing standards for transformation, validation, and lineage of curated enterprise data products.
• Drive innovation by identifying, prototyping, and scaling emerging technologies such as vector databases and Agentic AI to enhance efficiency and maturity.
• Support enterprise initiatives by contributing to strategic programs of the Enterprise Data Office and fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned.
  
  
  

• Bachelors Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Professional credentials in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF), or Data Management (e.g., CDMP) are an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years in data architecture, modeling, or engineering, with at least 8 years in leadership roles; regulated industry experience (banking/financial services) required.
• Proven expertise in leading architecture teams and data product engineering; strong knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, dbt, vector databases, and AI/ML tools; deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (BSP, AMLA, FATF, Data Privacy Act).
• Advanced communication, collaboration, customer focus, responsibility, and results orientation; expert-level critical thinking, strategic agility, problem-solving, and innovation, with the ability to sustain high-performing teams and build a strong data-driven culture.
