Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, developing, and refining custom software solutions that enhance various system components. Your work will involve collaborating with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications that meet diverse business requirements. You will engage in continuous improvement practices and agile methodologies to maintain high-quality software performance and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to identify and resolve complex technical challenges that impact multiple areas of the project. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align software development activities with organizational goals and priorities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service (POS). - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies. - Experience in designing and implementing scalable software components using modern frameworks. - Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing software performance. - Ability to integrate custom solutions seamlessly with existing systems and applications. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value through technology. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service (POS). - This position is based at our Manila office.
