Credit Management Specialist I Manager

Job Summary

The Credit Management will is responsible for credit operations, ensuring effective risk assessment, policy compliance, and customer account management. The role drives service excellence, enhances credit processes, and supports business growth through strong stakeholder collaboration and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Credit Management team performance through KPIs and operational metrics
• Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive credit-related issues
• Conduct credit evaluations, set and manage customer credit limits, and assess risk exposure
• Develop and implement action plans to achieve or exceed performance targets
• Ensure all credit processes, procedures, and documentation are regularly reviewed and updated
• Monitor service levels based on agreements and customer satisfaction metrics
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards
• Provide coaching, development, and performance management for the team
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive system, tool, and process improvements
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• At least 3+ years of experience in a finance function within a multinational environment, with exposure to Credit Management
• Strong knowledge of credit policies, risk assessment, and collection practices
• Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer management abilities
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment
