Salary Range: ₱200,000 - ₱250,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

The role

The Commercial Director / Head of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across the company's product portfolio. This role leads the commercial strategy, sales organization, and go-to-market execution to achieve ambitious growth targets while building a scalable, high-performing sales team.

The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, leveraging deep expertise in SaaS, fintech, payments, POS solutions, or merchant technology to accelerate business growth and strengthen market position.

Your Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Define annual and quarterly revenue targets, sales plans, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, forecasting, and expansion initiatives.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization, including Sales Managers, Account Executives, Business Development Managers, and Account Management teams.
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
  • Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on execution, customer success, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top commercial talent.

Revenue Generation

  • Own and deliver company sales targets, revenue goals, and pipeline objectives.
  • Manage the full sales funnel from lead generation through closing and account growth.
  • Improve sales conversion rates, productivity, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Develop strategic sales programs to increase merchant acquisition and customer lifetime value.

Enterprise & Strategic Partnerships

  • Build relationships with key enterprise customers, strategic partners, banks, payment providers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations for large commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Go-To-Market & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to develop demand generation and lead acquisition strategies.
  • Work closely with Product and Operations teams to ensure strong product-market fit and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to influence product roadmap and commercial offerings.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and customer adoption processes.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management processes.
  • Present regular performance updates to executive leadership.
  • Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage sales budgets and optimize commercial investments.

Customer Success & Retention

  • Support retention and expansion strategies to maximize recurring revenue.
  • Build strong executive-level customer relationships.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and advocacy through proactive account management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of commercial, sales, or business development experience.
  • At least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, POS technology, merchant services, or technology-driven businesses.
  • Strong experience managing both SME and enterprise sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling commercial organizations.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
