Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and execute the business unit strategy and annual operating plans aligned with Medtronic Philippines growth objectives.
    • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across the assigned therapy portfolio.
    • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
Commercial & Market Development

  • Lead the execution of sales and marketing strategies to increase adoption of Medtronic therapies across hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle management strategies.


Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams including sales managers, clinical specialists, and marketing professionals.
  • Drive a strong performance culture through coaching, capability building, and talent development.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish strategic relationships with hospital administrators, healthcare providers, and industry partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain.


Operational & Financial Management

  • Manage the P&L performance of the business unit, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.


The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in commercial leadership, sales management, and market development.
  • Experience managing large teams and driving business growth in a complex healthcare environment.
