Your Role

At the heart of our global finance transformation, this role shapes the foundation that keeps our financial systems accurate, consistent, and future-ready. As a Business Process Expert in Finance Master Data, you will own and evolve the harmonized Chart of Accounts across our enterprise resource planning landscape, ensuring alignment with global accounting standards and upcoming regulatory changes, including updates to International Financial Reporting Standards. You will partner with cross-functional teams during system roll-outs, govern General Ledger master data, and drive continuous improvement in finance process design — making a tangible impact on how our organization operates at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve a harmonized Chart of Accounts across enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs – LEAN, QUATTRO, NEXT, RISE NEO), ensuring consistency and alignment with global finance standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise on new accounting processes and support the organization in adapting to upcoming changes in International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Support project management teams during enterprise resource planning system roll-outs by advising on account settings, developing harmonized accounting concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional process experts to define and implement best practices.
• Maintain accounting documentation and define and implement account configurations in enterprise resource planning systems, applying expertise in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling.
• Govern General Ledger master data by reviewing and validating requests for new or changed Finance master data against global standards, and escalating non-compliant or unclear cases to the global team.
• Monitor adherence to global Finance data standards by system users and take appropriate action to address deviations.
• Provide additional support to the Global Finance Process Management organization as needed.
  
  

Who You Are

• Holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience — combined with a solid background in General Ledger accounting, management accounting, and financial close activities.
• With hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling module structures and understand how these underpin enterprise-wide finance processes.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting requirements, translate them into system configurations, and communicate your findings clearly across organizational levels.
• Experienced in governing master data — verifying requests against global standards, escalating non-compliant cases, and maintaining data integrity in enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs – LEAN, QUATTRO, NEXT, RISE NEO).
• Comfortable working in international, cross-functional environments and can build consensus with diverse stakeholders on process definitions and best practices.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to change management and continuous improvement, with the ability to drive adoption of new accounting concepts and system updates.
• Proficient in English
• Experienced with statutory reporting or legal entity requirements is an advantage.
• Able to critically assess and apply artificial intelligence tools in your day-to-day work, with an understanding of how AI supports finance processes, its limitations, and the ethical considerations — including data privacy and accountability — that guide responsible use.
