Role Overview

The Business Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Power BI, Looker Studio, Excel, and other reporting tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and advanced technical capabilities in data manipulation and visualization.


Key Responsibilities

Data Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, Looker Studio, and other BI platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable reporting solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of data presented in all reports.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Perform deep‑dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
  • Conduct data mining to extract, clean, and prepare datasets from various sources.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that help drive business performance and support strategic initiatives.

Data Management & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
  • Support the enhancement of existing reporting processes and data flows.
  • Ensure data integrity, completeness, and compliance across all reporting outputs.

Documentation & Presentation

  • Prepare clear, well‑structured PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and insights to leadership.
  • Document business requirements, KPIs, and reporting specifications.
  • Present data insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, data analytics, or reporting-focused roles.
  • Strong capability in building visualizations using Power BI and Looker Studio.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query).
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-ready presentations.
  • Solid understanding of data mining, data modeling, and analytical frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data tools (optional but a plus).
  • Knowledge of data governance, KPI frameworks, and performance reporting methodologies.
  • Experience working in corporate, financial services, or technology-driven environments.
