BTS Finance Service Operations Director

The BTS Finance Operations Lead is the senior IT and process leader responsible for the end‑to‑end integration, management, and continuous improvement of core Finance Operations processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Period-End closure support in coordination with Finance teams. This role ensures operational excellence, standardization, and compliance across these domains, and serves as the primary point of escalation for operational issues and service delivery.

This senior position within BTS Finance works closely with other BTS Finance leads to define and refine ownership of recurring operational and product support responsibilities.

The role also oversees the overall performance of the BTS Finance team, ensures adherence to KPIs, manages the relationship and performance of AMS (Accenture Managed Services) within the BTS Finance scope, and collaborates closely with GBS on financial process integration and optimization. Additionally, the position serves as the BTS FSG point of contact for the Manila GBS hub, ensuring global technology initiatives are clearly communicated and that Manila-specific requirements are thoroughly captured. The position currently owns technical Concur support.

As a BTS Finance Service Operations Director, you will mainly be responsible for

• Business Relationship Management - Act as the “Head of IT” for Finance Operations, overseeing all IT matters with an end‑to‑end service delivery mindset. This includes working directly with key players and leadership teams to understand business plans and provide guidance on relevant technologies and IT services. The role also serves as the senior IT escalation point for Finance Operations, manages interdependencies across business initiatives that require integrated or shared IT services, and advises on the latest IT trends while pursuing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• IT Programme Leadership - Lead and steer IT resources to deliver key business initiatives, such as performance management systems and financial analytics, while also representing IT on executive steering committees for major initiatives.
• Service Delivery Management - Serve as the senior escalation point for IT issues affecting process integrity, while defining and managing IT performance KPIs relevant to Finance Performance. The role tracks and influences the performance of IT services, including reporting systems and analytics platforms, and works closely with decision‑makers to simplify and standardize the systems landscape.
• IT Strategy Management - Ensure that the IT vision and strategy accurately reflect business requirements and priorities, while effectively communicating this vision and strategy to business process leaders.
• IT Governance and Compliance - Ensure the application of corporate IT systems change management policies while driving cost avoidance through alignment with corporate standards. The role also ensures proper governance for global applications and process standardization, as well as compliance with legal and statutory requirements, IT security policies, and audit controls such as J‑SOX.
• People Management - Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to you.
  
  

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Finance Operations, GBS, and IT service delivery within the shared services industry or large multinational organizations, operating at the Senior Management level.
• Strong understanding of Finance Operations processes (General Ledger, AP, AR, Period-End Close), with familiarity in operational finance execution typically delivered by a GBS environment (service centers, standardized processes, and end-to-end workflows).
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing SAP Finance modules (SAP FI/CO, CO-PA), with a deep understanding of how finance processes operate within SAP in large, complex organizations.
• Proven experience in IT service delivery, including application support, enhancement management, and change governance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team of diverse IT professionals, and leading teams within multinational or large corporate environments.
