Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer with at least 3 years of experience in Node.js to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in developing APIs, working with databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Experience in modern development practices such as microservices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js
• Build scalable, high-performance, and secure server-side applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features
• Develop reusable, efficient, and reliable code following best practices
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
  
  

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
  

• Experience with GraphQL
• Exposure to serverless architecture
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools
• Experience working on enterprise-level applications
  
  

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON
• Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
