LSEG FX is looking for an Associate Data Scientist to drive the development of FX financial markets surveillance algorithms. The successful candidate will work alongside other data scientists, QAs, business analysts and DevOps engineers across the London Stock Exchange Group to assist in delivering exceptional FX surveillance solutions to internal and external clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Support LSEG FX Surveillance projects, leveraging technical expertise to remove obstacles and to find creative solutions
- Build surveillance applications and tools for LSEG FX utilising data science techniques
- Support LSEG FX Surveillance applications and tools
- Write optimised code for LSEG FX surveillance applications and tools

Relevant Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Science-related permanent role
- Hands-on experience with Python, OLAP tools (Spark) and SQL (any flavour)
- Knowledge of Plotly/Dash visualisation tools
- Ability to handle version control and collaborative software development tools such as Bitbucket and Git
- Use of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with PyCharm/any other popular IDE
Degree Specialism (or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Maths or Engineering
