The Assistant Land Acquisition Officer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable land parcels for future development projects. The role involves conducting site visits, negotiating with landowners, coordinating due diligence efforts, and collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to support the company’s strategic land banking and project development goals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in land acquisition, real estate development, property negotiation or similar role.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with proven track record of successfully closing deals.
Basic knowledge of Philippine real estate laws, land titling processes, and LGU regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to travel frequently and conduct fieldwork in Tanauan City, Batangas.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities in line with the company’s development strategy.
Negotiate with landowners to secure favorable purchase terms.
Coordinate with legal & technical, due diligence process, including title verification, survey, environmental assessments, and permitting requirements.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure land acquisitions are financially viable, and technically and legally sound.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, local government units (LGUs), and other stakeholders.
Prepare and present acquisition proposals, reports, and documentation for management approval.
Maintain an up-to-date database of land opportunities and acquisition status.
Conduct administrative functions related to land acquisition such as, but not limited to, monitoring the status of documentary requirements, illustrating the landowner’s family tree, drafting minutes of meetings with the landowner, and facilitating the contract signing or deal closure.
Monitor industry trends, land values, and regulatory developments that may impact land acquisition strategies.
