Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system improvements. - Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS). - Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and their integration with retail systems. - Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex software issues within enterprise environments. - Familiarity with database management and query optimization related to warehouse management systems. - Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of problems. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS). - This position is based at our Manila office.
