The primary role of the Technical Consultant is to work closely with customers to understand and translate their business and technical requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions. The consultant is responsible for configuring, developing, and implementing platform capabilities while supporting the successful delivery of the solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary focus areas ServiceNow ITSM, ITIL, ITAM, IRM, ITOM/CMDB & GRC
  • Other focus areas HP Service Manager, BMC/Remedy, SaaS Solutions, Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.)
  • Supporting functional design workshops and contributing to the creation of design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements
  • Working closely with customers to understand, analyze, and translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions
  • Contributing to the technical delivery, including configuration, development, testing, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions
  • Collaborating with Pre-Sales and Technical Architecture teams to support client presentations, workshops, and technical discussions
  • Hands-on technical implementation using technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript/AJAX, and integrations (Web Services, SOAP, Email, MID Server, etc.)


Your Expertise

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience
  • Hands-on experience in design, development, and deployment on the ServiceNow platform (approximately 18-36 months), or 3+ years of experience with similar ITSM tools.
  • Minimum Required Skills
  • Experience in providing creative solutions to business problems and working with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Must have solid understanding and experience in using several web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript/AJAX and developing integrations with the ServiceNow platform using web services, SOAP, email, MID, plugins
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
  • Ability to produce documentation on various levels including technical and customer facing
  • Preferred Skills


ServiceNow knowledge of 2 or more of the following products is preferable

  • SPO (Sourcing and Procurement Operations)
  • APO (Accounts Payable Operations)
  • SLO (Supplier Lifecycle Operations)
  • FCM (Finance Case Management)
  • SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management)
  • WHS (Workplace and Health & Safety)
  • AI (Now Assist, AI Agent, and Agentic Workflow)
  • AI Control Tower
  • Certifications
  • ITIL v2 or V3 Foundations
  • CSA
  • ITSM


At least one of the following

  • ITOM (Discovery Implementation Specialist and CMDB)
  • ITAM (HAM & SAM)
  • Any other will be a plus (HRSD, CAD, VR, GRC, IRM etc.)
