The opportunity
The APAC Ecosystem Alliance Relationship Associate Director plays a critical role managing the day-to-day execution of the EY’s most strategic alliance relationship across the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the APAC Ecosystem Alliance Relationship Director, this role focuses on operationalizing alliance strategy, strengthening partner relationships, and enabling crossmarket activation and governance in alignment with regional and global objectives.
You will work closely with the Director, APAC alliance leaders, Service Line and Sector stakeholders, and partner counterparts to support the execution of EY’s APAC alliance strategy. You will manage relationship collaboration, governance, program oversight, compliance, and performance intelligence for select priority alliances—initially SAP and NVIDIA, with potential expansion as the ecosystem grows.

Your Key Responsibilities
Your role will sit within the Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship team, providing relationship management oversight and operational leadership for top EY alliances across the region. You will work directly with the APAC Ecosystem Alliance Relationship Director and APAC alliance counterparts to drive seamless execution of strategy and strong partner engagement.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Execute the APAC alliance strategy and objectives for assigned strategic relationships (e.g., SAP and NVIDIA).
- Manage toptotop and workingteam interactions with partner executives to mobilize strategic initiatives, accelerate field engagement, and drive execution of shared priorities.
- Support development and delivery of APAC alliance business plans, ensuring alignment across Service Line, Sector, Account, and Super Region teams.
- Run disciplined governance processes including operating cadence, business reviews, and program management routine.
- Coordinate APAC inputs into global and regional business reviews and provide insights to APAC and Global Alliance executives.
- Ensure compliance with EY policies, independence requirements, and alliance contracting standards.
- Support deployment of partner programs across APAC, driving local activation and compliance.
- Manage day-to-day execution of alliance operations including contracting support, reporting, performance intelligence, and field enablement activities.
- Activate new countries and markets by supporting business plans, relationship engagement, governance setup, and alliance contracting.
- Deliver complete and accurate alliance performance reporting, including financials, pipeline insights, activation metrics, and partner impact.
- Collaborate with APAC and Regional BMC teams to develop marketing messaging, campaigns, and partneraligned content.
- Work with crossfunctional EY teams to support field engagement, enablement, and joint gotomarket execution.
This role is based in the Asia Pacific. You can anticipate a mix of virtual work along with regular coordination with other team members across Global and across the Globe. The role will require some travel.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Able to juggle many activities and provide enablement services in the areas of: relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support, strong relationship building skills and is highly organized.
- Understanding technology and business benefits of relevant alliance partner products and solutions.
- Experience in alliance management or business development for technology or professional services companies.
- Experience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships.
- Strong networking and influence management skills result in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundaries.
- Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues.
- A self-starter who is able to work independently while also communicating progress and challenges with others on the team
- Comfortably escalating complex issues with recommendations to leadership
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects at a time
- Comfortable working with others within EY with unique personalities, cultures and working styles and can adapt your approach to best interact.
