APAC Data Risk Coordinator- Supervising Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Regional & Global Coordination
• Act as a liaison between Regional Data Risk teams (EMEIA & APAC) and Global Data Risk, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
• Monitor implementation of global data risk initiatives within regions and provide feedback on progress and challenges.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
• Disseminate Global Data Risk communications to regional teams and Member Firms (MFs).
• Collect feedback from regions and escalate issues or concerns to Global Data Risk leadership.
• Data Risk Monitoring
• Track and report on data risk practices across EMEIA and APAC regions.
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in compliance and risk posture.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with related teams such as RIM, DSO, GCO, DP, TARP and Infosec to address data risk matters.
• Support joint initiatives and ensure consistent application of policies and standards.
• Coordinate collaboration between regional Data Risk Leaders and GDS RM Global Data Risk to streamline GDS services in regions
• Project Support & Implementation
• Assist regional leaders in managing projects and operational tasks.
• Coordinate regional adoption of global tools, processes, and frameworks.
• Meeting & Call Management
• Arrange calls with regional Data Risk Leaders and Risk Management Leaders to discuss priorities and updates.
• Prepare agendas and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
• Organise meetings between GDS RM Global Data Risk team and regions to present services that GDS can offer (e.g., data incident management, client data risk)
• Attending Data Risk, Data Protection, DSO and GCO regular calls and in-person meetings if required.
• Presentation & Reporting
• Prepare slide decks for meetings with regions, ensuring clarity and alignment with global objectives.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise compliance and risk metrics.
• Analyse data to provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
