About The Role
The Aftersales Director is responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading the operations of MAPVI’s Service, Parts, Warranty, Customer Care, and Technical Training functions. You will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, profitability, and full alignment with BYD’s global standards.
You will oversee all dealership aftersales operations across the country—driving continuous improvements, strengthening dealer capability, and ensuring sustainable performance aligned with MAPVI’s growth vision.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Service Operations Leadership
Lead nationwide service operations to deliver top-tier customer satisfaction.
Ensure high service quality, fast turnaround time, and strict warranty compliance.
Monitor key metrics such as NPS, service productivity, claim approvals, and workshop efficiency.
Parts Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee national parts supply chain, forecasting, inventory planning, and distribution.
Ensure optimal fill rates, strong parts availability, accurate stocking levels, and high inventory turnover.
Drive revenue growth in parts sales through data-driven planning.
Customer Relations & Retention
Establish robust customer care strategies for swift issue resolution.
Drive retention programs, loyalty initiatives, and consistent customer experience standards.
Maintain high customer satisfaction, complaint resolution efficiency, and long-term loyalty metrics.
Technical Training & Dealer Capability Development
Build and execute the national technical training roadmap for technicians, advisors, and dealer service staff.
Ensure strong dealer readiness, certification levels, and compliance with BYD technical standards.
Oversee continuous upskilling of the entire aftersales workforce.
Aftersales Network Development
Support dealer network expansion and readiness, including capability audits, facility compliance, and operational onboarding.
Strengthen service capacity, coverage, and capability as the brand grows nationally.
Financial & Strategic Planning
Develop and manage the aftersales budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Execute long-term strategic plans aligned with MAPVI’s business objectives.
Drive innovation in systems, reporting, and operational processes.
Qualifications
10+ years progressive experience in automotive aftersales, service operations, parts, or customer service.
5+ years leadership experience at a senior management level (Director/Head/VP).
Strong operational and commercial understanding of service & parts KPIs.
Proven track record in dealer network management or OEM-distributor aftersales.
Experience in EV aftersales, technical training, product support, or warranty management is a strong advantage.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven, structured, and strategic mindset with strong financial acumen.
