Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role plays a key part in supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations by ensuring timely and accurate cash application, reconciliation, and accounts receivable processing. The Accounts Receivable Specialist contributes to stable, high‑quality service delivery, strengthens collaboration across GBS pillars, and supports financial efficiency, control, and compliance across assigned entities.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for the following

• Processing of AR & CM Transactions. Responsible for daily and month‑end accounts receivable and cash management activities, including cash application, reconciliations, and support for treasury initiatives, while ensuring smooth integration of treasury processes within O2C and R2R cycles.
• Control and Compliance. Ensure full compliance with Global Operating Guidelines, corporate and GBS policies, and executes assigned J‑SOX controls accurately and on time to meet internal and external audit requirements.
• Analytical, Reporting, and Process Improvement. Prepare accurate and timely AR reports and analyses, while continuously reviewing performance metrics and current processes to identify and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support to Team, Other Process Teams, and Projects. Provide operational and task support to the Team Lead and AR colleagues, contributes to cross‑functional collaboration, and participates in GBS, corporate, and transformation initiatives as required.
• Support to Entities. Deliver customer‑focused support to assigned entities by ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and expert advice through a strong understanding of the entity’s business and operational needs.
  
  

Who are we looking for?

You ideally have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application in a similar‑sized organization
• Strong SAP / SAP HANA proficiency, with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence in internal and external stakeholder and cross‑functional collaboration
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to be proactive and detail‑oriented; and has sense of accountability and urgency, with strong ownership mindset, and openness to learning and process improvement
• Amenability to work on dayshift and/or midshift, depending on business need
