Job Summary

At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.

The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Business Application Consulting team you play a vital role in enhancing operational productivity, improving customer experience, and fostering innovation through the implementation of advanced technologies and streamlined workflows. As a Manager, you lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining exemplary standards, while leveraging your business knowledge to identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You guide the team on tasks, perform design and code reviews, and support testing and client queries, while upholding PwC’s quality standards and contributing to the firms purpose, principles, and broader business strategies.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7 to 11 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Proficiency in Insurance Transformation and Modernization
  • Proficiency in GW Integration Mechanisms
  • Experience with Gosu Classes and Enhancements
  • Knowledge of Java and J2EE
  • Familiarity with Microservice and Spring Boot
  • Skilled in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology
  • Advanced analytical and estimation skills
  • Experience in Guidewire implementations
  • Ability to lead teams and mentor others

Additional Qualification

  • Flexible to support different US time zones (2:00PM to 11PM / 3:00PM to 12AM / 4:00PM to 1:00AM / 5:00PM to 2:00AM)
  • Amenable to work in BGC Taguig Metro Manila
