Technical Trainer

ACMobility is looking for a Technical Trainer to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical training programs across the BYD dealer network.

The role is responsible for managing technical training curricula, conducting training needs analyses, delivering technical and product training, and supporting technician certification and development programs. Working closely with dealers, technicians, and BYD headquarters, the position helps ensure service quality, technical competency, and compliance with manufacturer standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical training curricula, training calendars, and dealer training databases

• Conduct training needs analyses and identify development requirements for technicians and dealer personnel

• Design and implement technical training programs, including technician leveling, certification, and new model product training

• Deliver classroom, hands‑on, and technical training sessions in accordance with established training plans

• Facilitate technician certification and competency development programs to support service quality standards

• Manage technician screening, assessment, leveling, and certification activities

• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, assessment tools, and examination content

• Monitor trainee performance, training effectiveness, and competency improvements through evaluations and assessments

• Prepare and maintain training reports, training records, and performance monitoring documentation

• Organize and administer the BYD Service Technician Skills Contest and related developmental initiatives

• Coordinate with BYD Philippines and BYD Headquarters regarding training standards, requirements, and updated technical information

• Manage and maintain the Technical Training Center, including training equipment, service special tools, and learning resources

• Conduct dealer visits and provide coaching, support, and recommendations for technician development and operational improvements

• Support service process training initiatives aimed at improving repair quality, fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time performance, and customer satisfaction

• Ensure compliance with established training policies, procedures, and manufacturer requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

• At least three years of experience as a Technical Trainer, Technical Instructor, or automotive training professional

• Technical and Training Leveling Certification or equivalent technical training certification

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair processes

• Experience developing and facilitating technical training programs and assessments

• Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and identify competency development opportunities

• Good presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills

• Ability to coordinate with dealer personnel, technical teams, and manufacturer representatives

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
