The Fundamental Mandate Of This Position Is The Following

  • Deliver on the sales objectives for Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos Cardiometabolic business unit and drive market share growth.
  • Define the sales strategy and collaborate with full-service distributors to win and increase market share in the defined region/area.

Collaborate with region marketing and service/field support technical teams as needed to deliver customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business partnerships to grow the business.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for acquiring new instrument placements, contract renewals, and increase utilization of the installed products.
  • Ensure sales goals are achieved without compromising on Division/Area/Market profitability
  • Identify areas of opportunity for gaining new accounts and increasing existing accounts from competition culminating in the creation/execution of customer acquisition plans.
  • Build and Manage relationships with distributors and executing to a high degree of performance in achieving their business objectives.
  • Identify a strong funnel of growth potential opportunities and funnel management throughout the full sales cycle.
  • Review progress on key milestones in account plans for all accounts
  • Responsible for Account funnel, forecast and AOP performance.
  • Participate in hospital tenders, undertake negotiations as necessary and generate sales and increase market share, whilst maximizing profitability.
  • Financial responsibility and management of targeted key accounts
  • Assists in implementing market development and field marketing activities. Schedules appointments and makes sales presentations to customers. Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales. Coordinates Professional Education activities to enhance the knowledge of Healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date status of the customer installed base list for focused products.
  • Targets and manages assigned territory while operating within an assigned budget.
  • Comply with Abbott Corporate Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures. Ensure all commercial activities are conducted professionally, aligned with local regulatory and industry guidelines and are conducted in a manner consistent with Abbott Corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Build strategic customer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Executes national, regional and local promotional activities that are designed to advance sales in specific product lines or areas.
  • Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Assists in making sales forecasts for business planning by account and submits to management.
  • Prepares sales reports and documents as required.
  • Relays relevant market information to management.
  • This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
