Quality Engineer

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, conducting thorough testing across various application layers, and actively participating in discussions to enhance the overall quality of the product. You will also be responsible for creating automated scripts and monitoring the testing process to identify and resolve defects efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality. - Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements. - Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. - Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on quality and testing practices. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Italian Language. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience in creating and executing automated test scripts. - Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks. - Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test cases. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. - This position is based at our Manila office.
