Operations Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring in-transit trucks, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely delivery updates. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability to a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, and the ability to handle operational issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track trucks that are currently in transit to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers through phone calls to monitor delivery progress.
• Provide timely operational updates regarding transportation status.
• Assist in resolving transportation exceptions, delays, and safety-related issues.
• Support daily logistics operations and ensure smooth transportation coordination.
• Record and update operational data accurately in internal systems.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify operational issues and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address delivery or transportation concerns.
  
  

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule.
• Strong sense of responsibility with a serious, positive, and detail-oriented work attitude.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Ability to handle operational issues and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of logistics or transportation operations is an advantage.
