Your Teams Impact

The successful candidate will join FactSet’s Compliance, Litigation, and Risk team. The team is responsible for ensuring that FactSet’s global operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and all employees act in compliance with applicable laws and adhere to FactSet’s ethical standards.

What Youll Do

The Compliance Paralegal will provide critical support to FactSet’s Legal & Compliance team. This role will be responsible for managing compliance-related processes and systems, including vendor and client due diligence, sanctions screening, data privacy workflows, training and policy administration, and case management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, a proactive approach to managing projects, and a capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of new subject areas, technologies, and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the internal ethics hotline and case management system, including supporting the transition from existing platforms to new case management solutions.
  • Conduct vendor due diligence screening utilizing internal platforms, FactSet workstation, and public records research.
  • Oversee the Know Your Client (KYC) sanctions screening process, including internet research to identify clients named on global watchlists or subject to sanctions or other international trade controls.
  • Coordinate internal data privacy processes, managing the data processing register through FactSet’s internal ticketing system and responding to data subject rights requests received via FactSet’s data privacy inbox.
  • Maintain calendars related to training, communications, and policy updates, ensuring timely delivery of policy communications and training in key risk areas.
  • Assist the team in creating training materials on various compliance topics, including developing and delivering online courses via the Workday Learning Management System, tracking and reporting on completion rates, follow-up with employees who fail to complete training.
  • Oversee the timeline for policy reviews and ensure policy documents are properly formatted and kept up to date.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams on research, administrative, and organizational tasks as needed
  • What Were Looking For 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law, Legal Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant experience in corporate compliance, paralegal, or legal support roles preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficient in research, data management, and use of digital ticketing/case management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capacity to quickly acquire knowledge on new subject areas, technologies, and operational processes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive, personal information with discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with compliance case management or workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OneDrive; also Workday and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with KYC, sanctions, and data privacy regulations.
  • Familiarity with FactSet workstation and research platforms is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and local language
