As part of our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team, the WebMethods Integration Consultant will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable and resilient integration solutions across our energy and utilities technology client environments. The role will ensure the implementation and support of customer webMethods integrations within NRI’s ITIL framework.

What You’ll Do: 

You will be accountable to.

• Design, develop and support integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods platform within a complex enterprise environment.

• Deliver and maintain integrations between business systems, operational platforms and external partners, with a focus on reliability and data flow across critical utility services.

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

• Develop and maintain webMethods assets including Integration Server services, APIs, Flow services, Java services and adapter configurations.

• Support integrations across development, test and production environments, ensuring availability and operational stability.

• Investigate and resolve integration issues, including message failures, data processing errors and performance-related problems.

• Monitor and improve integration performance, scalability and resilience to support business-critical utility operations.

• Provide on-call for business critical services as part of a 24x7 on-call roster.

• Participate in solution design, technical reviews, deployments and production release activities.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, vendor and operational teams to deliver and support integration services.

• Maintain integration documentation, support procedures and technical standards.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer to other team members.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of integration capability, standards and delivery practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years experience designing, developing and supporting integrations using the Software AG webMethods platform.

• Strong experience with webMethods Integration Server, Flow services, APIs and adapter development.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across applications.

• Experience supporting business-critical integrations in an enterprise environment, preferably within the utilities sector.

• Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging, data transformation and API-based integration.

• Strong experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, messaging and other enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience working within an ITIL environment, including incident, problem and change management processes.

• Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

• Proven client communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders.

• Ability to provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing and mentoring to other team members.

• One or more AG webMethods certifications (IBM webMethods API; IBM webMethods Integration; IBM webMethods Integration SaaS; IBM webMethods B2B SaaS)
