As a Remediation Review Analyst in the Remediation Review team, you review check and deposit images and compare key fields to captured data to identify and correct discrepancies. You help protect customers and the firm by maintaining strong quality and productivity standards while meeting daily completion timelines.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Review check and deposit images to validate key data fields against captured records
  • Compare routing number, account number, check number, and dollar amount to identify mismatches
  • Correct eligible data errors in accordance with documented procedures and quality standards
  • Meet productivity targets, including items-per-hour expectations, while maintaining accuracy
  • Perform research and analysis to resolve exceptions and unclear image data
  • Document completed work and exceptions in required tracking tools or logs
  • Communicate and escalate potential issues, trends, or risks to management in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet daily and periodic case completion timelines
  • Cross-train on additional functions to provide coverage and operational resilience
  • Follow all applicable policies, controls, and firmwide quality standards while performing reviews
  • Protect confidential information by handling customer and transaction data appropriately

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong computer skills, including 10-key proficiency
  • Typing proficiency of at least 10,000 keystrokes per hour
  • Ability to work accurately with image-based data and perform sustained, detail-oriented reviews
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Research, analytical, and comprehension skills, including the ability to interpret data shown in check images
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and apply consistent validation standards
  • Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required by business needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in banking operations, transaction processing, or financial services operations
  • Familiarity with check processing concepts, including magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) line data
  • Experience working in a high-volume, metric-driven operations environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly and apply feedback to improve quality and productivity
