Make an impact by helping ensure accurate cash positions across accounts, currencies, and cash networks. In this role, you will investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, strengthen controls, and improve end-to-end processes. You will partner with internal teams and external parties to reduce recurring exceptions and improve operational efficiency.

As a Trade Lifecycle Specialist III – Reconciliations in the Reconciliations team, you will manage moderate to complex cash reconciliation activities and investigate breaks to support accurate books and records. You will monitor intraday and end-of-day activity, drive timely issue resolution, and escalate high-impact items when needed. You will apply structured problem-solving to address root causes and help strengthen processes, controls, and documentation. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technology partners to support continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash reconciliations across assigned products and accounts; identify, investigate, and clear breaks within service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze exceptions and root causes; partner with internal teams, agent banks, and technology to drive resolution through closure.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls; escalate aging breaks and client-impacting issues with clear status updates and action plans.
  • Monitor break volumes and exception trends; escalate unusual spikes, recurring themes, and emerging risks to the team lead or manager.
  • Prepare evidence and maintain documentation to support reviews, audits, and control or process testing.
  • Identify process and control enhancements; support automation and standardization initiatives with technical partners.
  • Provide support to the team for other assignments as required from time to time.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of reconciliation concepts, controls, and exception management (break identification, investigation, and escalation).
  • At least 2 years of relevant operations and/or reconciliations experience.
  • Understanding of financial instruments and basic accounting treatment.
  • Experience with fund accounting and/or reconciliation systems, and proficiency with Excel and similar office tools.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with effective stakeholder management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience using automation and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, VBA, Tableau, Microsoft Copilot, or similar applications).
