We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Technology Lead to spearhead the development and scaling of our high-performance exchange platform at Coins.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic leadership. You will design and implement robust, microservices-based Java applications, mentor a talented team of developers, and collaborate across international borders to support our global expansion. What Youll Do

Development & Leadership:

Lead the development of the exchange platform, ensuring seamless operations and high performance
Design, implement, and maintain robust Java-based applications and systems
Write high-quality, scalable, and efficient code using Java and relevant technologies
Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments
Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering their technical growth and career development
Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies and apply industry best practice

Cross-Cultural Relations:

Foster and manage relationships across diverse cultures, supporting the global expansion of Coins

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and standards, collaborating with compliance teams to integrate KYC and Fiat transaction processes effectively

Required Tech Skills:

Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles
Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks for building microservices-based applications
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers
Strong knowledge of databases, including MySQL and NoSQL (e.g., Redis)
Familiarity with middleware (e.g., Kafka,RabbitMQ)
Familiarity with RESTful web services and API design
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with system performance optimization is a plus

Leadership in Tech Startup Environments: Extensive experience leading, building, and scaling high-performing tech teams in fast-paced startup environments. Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving ambitious technical milestones while nurturing a culture of innovation and continuous learning
Operational Excellence: Expertise in designing robust tech solutions that ensure operational efficiency, security, and scalability. Knowledge of managing distributed systems with a focus on reliability, latency, and privacy, particularly in the context of crypto transactions
Risk Management & Security Expertise: In-depth understanding of security challenges and risks in the crypto industry, with experience implementing best practices for application security and data protection
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate industry trends, adapt to new technologies, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes. A solutions-oriented mindset focused on overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in the crypto market
Communication: Proficient in spoken English; Mandarin speaking and listening skills are a strong plus
