Job Description

The main role of the Finance Process Lead is to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial processes across accounting functions. The position drives operational excellence, compliance, and team performance to achieve business objectives.

 

Essential Duties

People Management

  • Supervise the team in terms of schedule adherence and completion of tasks.

  • Provide training, coaching, and knowledge sharing to team members and new hires.

  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identifying areas for improvement to deliver best-in-class service.

  • Maintain updated process documentation, workflows, and work instructions.

  • Assess workload distribution and recommend workforce utilization strategies.

 

Operational

  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure AP processes (vendor invoices, payments, expense claims) are completed within SLA.

  • Ensure AR processes (customer billing, collections, credit memos) are executed accurately and on time.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

  • Resolve escalated issues promptly and liaise with stakeholders to maintain accurate financial data.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

  • Apply critical thinking to resolve issues and prioritize daily transactional activities.

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance operations, with 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and accounting processes.

  • Excellent system and process knowledge (ERP systems preferred).

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Experience in back-office finance operations or shared service environments.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Amenable to onsite work and flexible shifts.
